Why do We....

Eeryone has had that one friend who says "i will never settle down". That friend who you can always ask anything and they seem to have the answer, no matter how hard the question. The friend who can hook everyone up but will never have a long term relationship. That friend who fixes relationships and always seems to have the best advice and you follow it and it works 99% of the time.

Well that friend might give the greatest advice and you might follow it but that friend might need the same from you. That friend might need a push with her own words. See that friend can mend other peoples lives so good and fix their problems but when you sit back and take a look at her life there is a deaper side to it. Their life is unraveling before their eyes and its easier to fix someone elses life than it is to deal with your own problems.

When someone takes a look at a person you usually judge them by how you see them. The more you get to know them the more little bits of their life come out. Until eventually you see everything and they all of sudden turn into another person. A better person or maybe a person that you will help instead of judge. You can never tell who a person is just by looking at them you should always sit back and try to see the bigger picture.

"Walk a mile in their shoes..." never been so true.

Government hiring Pedophiles????

I was watching t.v today and I was shocked to see that our very own goverment has been hiring pedophiles to deliver our mail. I am very disturbed by this. I have a child of my own and now i wonder about my mail man. Your mail man knows a good amount about you he knows where you live when your home and what your kids look like. At anytime he could wait until he gets off work and come to watch your kids and god forbid do something to them. I beleive that our government should be a little more responsible to look at the people they hire. I know in the real world pedophiles are not allowed within a certain amount of feet from houses with children or parks and schools. So why are they allowed to ignore that when they are dilivering mail? I dont beleive that is right. One mailman actually touched a 12 year old child inapropriatley while delivering mail. What the fuck?! Something needs to be done. You cant say they are not allowed near children and then give them the opporitunity to be around them everyday. You are putting our kids in danger. The government also had to have seen they were pedophiles because they obviously got arrested and have to register as offenders. So it really comes down to carelessness. The government doesnt give a shit about no one but themselves. Who in their right mind would actually want a pedophile to know where they live and know who their kids are. If they made you trust them some might even know where your kids go to school. I think the government is a little fucked up right now and really needs to get it together. This is the most disgusting thing i have ever herd and if my mailman happend to be a pedophile i would personally make sure he didnt deliver mail to my house anymore. Its something i think everyone needs to be aware of and take a personal day to look into and check on your mailmans backround. Your kids are number one and every parent should do whats needed to be done to make them safe!

Why Donating is so important

Things happen in our lives we cannot control and when those things catch you off guard and you are not prepared you sometimes don't know what to do. I was recently involved in a fire that was out of my hands. i did not start it and had no part of starting it. Something as little as a cigarette caused 21 families to be on the streets. There were a lot of kids amongst those families as well and everything from clothes to toys were lost. Nothing, not even something as little as a toothbrush was able to be saved. My family as well as others were stuck with the clothes on our backs and we felt hopeless. All we could do was sit back and watch our homes burn.

All the donations everyone has made to red cross over the years was the reason we all had hope. We have also received donations from local neighbors and people we don't even know. So instead of throwing your old stuff away please donate them to a church or local charity and just know you will be helping out someone in need. It could be a child or an old couple, you never know who might need it.

Please click the link to the left and help donate to the red cross. All it takes is a second and a click. I believe for evry click i receive there will be a donation to the red cross. So please like i said it only takes a second to change someones life.

Red Cross, Boy scouts and Girl scouts and fire department

I recently lost my home in a fire along with 21 other families in california, maryland. Unfortunatly six out of the 21 families are still homeless including me, my son and my fiancee. We were amongst the six who did not have renters insurance. We lost everything. we couldnt even save a toothbrush with all the damage done to our place. We only had the clothes on our backs. It was a traumatizing view pulling up to our apartment building only to see firetrucks and smoke along with the fire. There were many animals still locked in the apartments, one being my cat, charlie. If it wasn't for the St. Mary's fire department i probably wouldn't have been able to save my charlie.

Red cross was able to meet with all of us who were victims of this fire. Thanks to all of you who donate to the red cross we were able to get a gift card to help replace some of the things we needed. Red cross also was able to pay for three nights at a hotel for all of us.

Two days later, still fresh into the loss, red cross, the fire department of St. Mary's county and the girl and boy scouts were able to set up a spaghetti dinner for all of us who lost our homes. The boy scouts and the girl scouts passed out toys and books to my son and other kids who lost all their toys. It was the best feeling knowing someone could make my son and the other children be happy and come together for that short period. My sons face lit up when he got his stuffed animals and his books that were passed out to him.

Today I am still living in a hotel, its been two weeks and things are starting too look up i would like to thank all of you who did not have to do what you did, but you did. Too all of you who helped all of us out and gave donations and clothes and furniture and everything that was done for me and my family.

Special thanks to: Dwaine, Bella, Our apartment owner, St Mary's fire department, all the churches and the moose lodge, the girl scouts and the boys scouts, social services, Housing authorities of st. Marys county, HPRP........ and everyone else i may have not named you are in my heart and i thank you for everything.

Does the bounce bar really work?

I bought the bounce bar from food lion and that was a month ago. As an owner of one it is the best thing i have invested in. You really just forget about it. I honestly was wondering why the clothes in my dryer smelled so darn good. I yelled at my fiance because i thought he was using too much detergent. Then i remembered. The bounce bar. If you were thinking about trying it, do it youMll love it. It smells wonderful.

Walk to find cures

There are so many new diseases and illnesses in this day and age. Breast cancer to aids and epilepsy and the list goes on. We knew of these things for a while but with new technology and the support of the american people we have helped the search for a cure come a long way. I have a list of profitable walks/runs to help raise money for these illnesses and would love if you would take some time out of your day to attend and support the cause. I will blog them a.s.a.p. I am also trying to partner with a few of these charities so you can make a donation right here from my site. Until then i can provide the adresses and names of these place and you can send a donation that way if you are unable to attend a fundraiser.
